I want to download a program to my computer, but when i put the disk in, it says it cant be read and i should run the chkdsk utility??? WTF???

It means you are having serious errors in your hard drive! You should go to the my computer/your drive and right click your drive and scan it for any errors. If it persists then your cd drive is busted. good luck!
